For the past few days, I've been racking my brains thinking about who the GOP will front after W's tour of infamy.

Guiliani? Not likely. 9/11 leadership aside, he needs an Extreme Morals Makeover.

The Good Doctor Frist? Nope. He's a cardboard cadaver of a politician. And there are those dead kitties . . .

But brother Jeb has punched his time card as gov, and stolen two elections to boot. He's ripe for the ultimate promotion. Surely the 55 million who voted for W will be glad to keep the whip hand of power in the family.

And there's no Constitutional reason Cheney can't stay on, as long as his ticker is up to it. Failing that, perhaps his brain could run the show from inside a jar of formaldehyde.
