Come and join the comic Kos bunch  for Saturday Morning Political Cartoon!
This morning are remnants of Halloween.  One of the images that are around us this time of year are spider webs.

This was a digital doodle of a web, representing the web of life.

WEB

The following is further doodling in which the spider has become a symbol for Human Hubris. This unguided creature has lost touch with the instinct to survive and is clipping the strands connecting the web of life to it's home: Earth..

After that I wanted to refine the concept. I began with the background I put together for the Impeach Tree :

From that, here is what developed over the past couple of weeks:

As you can see, Hubris hasn't begun snipping the strands of the web of life yet,  but it's warmth is melting the arctic ice..

This is not a finished piece.  Stay tuned..
If you have some original political cartoons to share this morning, please post them in the comment section...  There are several good image hosting services that you can upload your art to and get a html code to post your work.  I use Imageshack

Have fun every one!
