Pittsburgh is it--NN09

I hope you east coasters are happy ;-)

I've never been there either, so that will be cool...

Or will it... what kind of weather is common on August 13-16?

Gina is "retiring" as director of the NN team... [sniff, sob]
She will be missed in that role, although we in the SF Kossack group will be happy to see her more often... hopefully.

Being asked right now what part of the convention was our favorite... For me? Well, that was one hell of a party last night, and I hope to post the photo soon of my admiring Common Sense Mainer's great western boots... ooh boy...

Although there was much left to be desired about this morning's program, I still thought the Pelosi/Gore appearance was pretty cool.

Larry Lessig's lunch talk was amazing, I have never before had the pleasure of hearing him speak. His endorsement of Obama weighed heavily in my choice of candidate, and I wasn't disappointed in his message today.

Have to think on the question a bit more.

Seems the choice was popular with the live crowd here too.

A Siegel has a great diary on the Green Pittsburgh aspect I allude to in a comment below -- Breaking:  Netroots Nation going green

Markos has been dragged reluctantly to the stage... okay, he just walked to the stage. But he didn't plan on speaking before, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to introduce Donna Edwards. Yeah!

I don't know if there will ever be a situation that allows for the NN convention in California... North to be specific... it's just too damn expensive, but maybe...

... a girl can dream ;-)
