Lonely Old Man To Buy Hisself Some Love
Wed Jul 23, 2008 at 01:02:01 PM PDT
John McCain has tried hard to rekindle the fickle affections of the media that has now turned to his younger, more virile rival. Chocolate, flowers, love letters, offers of long walks, fire-side chats ... nothing seems to get the attention of these media whores that now crawl Obama like flag-pins on a Republican.
No matter how much he crows, the hens won't pay no heed to the aging Rooster; heck, even Ann Coulter, that old reliable, seems a little distant these days.
The very last straw was when the Grey Lady returned his love letter expressing regret.
Another man would whine endlessly in impotent frustration -- and so McCain tried that as well. It helped a little bit -- he got the media to talk about what an impotent, frustrated whiner he has become.
Clinton Leads Michigan!
Thu Jan 10, 2008 at 11:12:17 AM PDT
It is shaping up to be an interesting race in Michigan, as Clinton tries to consolidate her lead and prevent her principal rivals from catching up. According to the latest Rossman Group/MIRS/Denno-Noor survey of 300 respondents in Michigan, Hillary Clinton is leading the field with 48% support.
Polling way behind Clinton (48%) were Uncommitted (28%), Unsure (11%) and Other (10%). The other Democrats – Dennis Kucinich (at three percent), Christopher Dodd (at one percent) and Mike Gravel (at one percent) – lag considerably behind.
A Great Victory for the Rule of Law!

Following massive protests the Judiciary regains its backbone!
Frenzied speculation that the President and his cabal will quit!
Democracy may be Restored!
The bad news: This is not about the USA where the Roberts' Court tramples on hard won freedoms, the President pardons enemies of the state, the Attorney General is a limp puppet of the Executive rather than the chief law enforcement officer, and where the Vice-President can spy on whom he chooses and destroy documents at will.
But for those who love demoracy this is still great news -- from Pakistan.
Obama vs JFK: Pretty boy bakeoff with Poll
Sat Dec 02, 2006 at 06:41:31 PM PDT
I consider myself undecided on whom to support for the 2008 Democratic nomination and want to give different nominees unfold their platforms before I choose.
But I am deeply disturbed that Obama is being unfairly targeted as a "pretty boy" who hasn't paid his dues at the progressive toll-booth.
So, I got the goods on the quintessential American pretty-boy president, JFK; that and more below.
